Roles and permissions
What admins, the manager, backroom staff, players and parents can each do in a squad.

- Where
Everyone in a squad has one or more roles. Your roles decide what you can do.
The roles
| Role | Who | What they do |
|---|---|---|
| Admin | People who run the squad. The creator is the Super Admin. | Edit the squad's details, logo, shirts and rules. Add and remove admins and staff, replace the manager. Look after the plan and payments. |
| Manager | The head coach. One per squad. | Pick line-ups and formations, rate players, run the match clock, set shirt numbers, positions and nicknames, send announcements, release players, take training attendance. |
| Backroom staff | Coaches, physios and others, each with a role. | Track live match events. With the manager, they're "the coaches". |
| Player | Members of the squad who play. | RSVP to matches and trainings, chat, and ask to leave. What they can see depends on the squad rules. |
| Parent | A parent managing a child's profile (web). | Does what their child could do as a player, from their own account. |
Coaches or admins: the squad rules
Questions
Can one person have several roles?
Yes. The person who creates a squad is both its manager and an admin, and a coach can also be an admin or a player. You get everything each of your roles allows.
What does "In this squad, the admins handle this." mean?
The squad rule for that action is off, so only admins can do it. An admin can change it in Squad rules.
