Confirm your line-up
Make your line-up visible to the squad, and what happens if you leave it too late.
- Who can do this
- Where
A line-up starts out hidden. Until it's confirmed, everyone else sees Lineup Not Confirmed on the match.
Confirming makes it visible to the squad. You can still change it afterwards.
How the button changes
| When | Button |
|---|---|
| More than a week before kick-off | Save Lineup |
| A week to 12 hours before | Save Lineup, with a second button for Lineup Settings |
| Less than 12 hours before | Confirm Lineup — saving now also confirms |
Lineup Settings explains the choice: "You can either save your lineup or confirm it. Confirming makes the lineup visible to everyone, but you can still make changes afterward." — with Confirm Lineup and Save Only.
Inside 12 hours the save dialog is headed Time to lock it in!.
You need a captain
Confirming without one gives you Please select a captain for your lineup. Long-press a player and choose Make Captain.
If you don't confirm
The manager is reminded the day before. Then, 2 hours before kick-off, Scouty confirms it for you.
In a non-RSVP match it also fills any empty place, first from your bench and then from the rest of the squad. In an RSVP match it just makes what you have visible.
Questions
Can I still change it after confirming?
Yes. You can change the line-up right up to kick-off. Confirming only makes it visible.
I confirm on my phone but there's no button on the web.
Confirming is on the mobile app only. A line-up saved on the web becomes visible when the match is close enough, or automatically 2 hours before kick-off.
