Pick a shape for your side, and see what moves when you change it.

Your squad's size decides which formations you can pick.

Open the formation list
On the app: tap the formation name in the bar above the pitch to open Select Formation. On the web: use the Formation menu in the toolbar.

What happens to your players
Changing formation keeps your players and pours them into the new shape, back to front. Nobody is dropped — only their positions change. Check the pitch afterwards, because a change from, say, a back four to a back three will move people.

Why do I only see three formations?
On the app, a free squad gets the first three for its size. Scouty Pro unlocks the rest and your saved ones.
