First steps as a coach

When you create a squad, you become its manager and its admin. Here's the order most coaches go in.

1. Create your squad

2. Follow the welcome slides

Right after you create it, Scouty shows a few slides: Welcome to your squad, Set up your squad rules (admins), Add coaching staff, Build Your Team, Set up your sessions and You're all set!. You can open the squad rules from there, or come back to them later.

3. Decide who does what

Open Squad rules to choose whether the coaches or the admins add players, create matches and create trainings, and what players can see.

4. Add your backroom staff

Invite your assistant coaches, physio and others from Manage Staff. See Add backroom staff.

5. Add your players

Players can find your squad with Find a squad and ask to join, or you can invite them. Players without the app can be added as virtual players.
