Create a squad
Set up a new squad with its name, team size, category, ages, location, level, story and shirts.

Anyone with a Scouty account can create a squad. You become its manager and its admin.
Create your squad
On your home screen, tap Create Squad. If you're already in a squad, tap the squad badge at the top left, then Create Squad. On Create A New Squad, tap Start.

Create Squad
Fill in:
- Squad Name: up to 30 characters.
- Squad Nickname or Short Name: letters and numbers only, for example RMCF.
- Team Size (including Keepers): 11 a side, 7 a side or 5 a side.
- Team Gender: the squad's category, Mens, Womens or Co-ed.
- Age Range (years): drag the slider, from 5 to 99.

In Where is your squad based?, search for your city.
Questions
Can I change the team size or category later?
No. Team size and category are fixed once the squad is created, so choose carefully. You can change the name, short name, bio, logo and shirts at any time.
Does a new squad need approval?
No. Your squad is ready as soon as you create it, and you get an email saying it was created.
How many squads can I create?
As many as you need, for example one per team or age group.
