Replace the manager
Hand the manager role to someone else, or find a replacement when the manager asks to leave.
A squad has exactly one manager. To change who it is, an admin picks a replacement. The switch happens once the replacement accepts.
Open Manage Staff
Tap your profile photo at the top right, then Manage Staff under Admin Settings.
Tap the X next to the manager
Replace Manager opens: to remove the manager, you must find a replacement first.
Pick the replacement
Search for a squad member, or enter an email.
Tap Begin Termination!
For someone invited by email, the button says Invite and Replace. You'll see Termination started!.
Open Backroom staff
Go to Settings and then Backroom staff.
Click Swap manager
It's on the manager's row. Replace Manager opens.

Manager switch in Progress shows the Current Manager and the Replacement Manager. From there you can:
If the manager asks to leave the squad, the admins are notified. On the mobile app, open Manage Staff: you'll see Manager Wants To Leave. Tap Find Replacement and follow the steps above.
No. A squad always has a manager, so you replace them. The current manager stays until the new one accepts.
