Build a line-up
Pick your starting side, place them on the pitch, name a captain and save.

Only the squad's manager can build a line-up.
Open the editor
Open the match, tap the floating button, then Lineup. You can also tap Edit Lineup on the match's Lineup tab.
The first time, Scouty walks you through the Lineup Picker: the subs bench, the formation list, the save and undo controls, and how to move players.
Open the match, click Manage match, then Edit lineup. You can also click Edit lineup on the match's Lineup tab.
The editor has three columns: your players on the left, the pitch in the middle and SUBS on the right.
Place your players
- Tap a player to select, then tap another to swap them.
- Drag to reposition. Dropping into a zone opens Select Position so you can change what that slot is.
- Double-tap a player to open your bench.
- Long-press for Make Captain, Move to Bench, Move to Reserve and Set Position.
- Click a player to select, then click another to swap them.
- Click a name in the left list, then a slot, to place them.
- Drag between the list, the bench and the pitch.
Questions
Why can't I open the line-up editor?
Only the squad's manager can edit a line-up. Backroom staff and admins can see it but not change it.
What happens if I never set one?
Two hours before kick-off Scouty makes the line-up visible anyway, and in a non-RSVP match fills empty places from the bench. You'll get a notification saying it confirmed the line-up for you.
