Set your substitutes
Decide who's on the bench, who's a reserve, and what that means on match day.
- Who can do this
Each player is in one of three places for a match:
Long-press a player on the pitch and choose Move to Bench, or open the bench with the list icon, select a player under LINEUP and tap Subs.
Drag a row between SUBS and RESERVES to reorder the bench — dropping between two players puts them in that spot.
Select a player in the left panel and use the quick actions, drag them into Subs or Reserved, or use Move to Bench on a player on the pitch.
Move to Reserve takes them out of the match without putting them on the bench.
The bin icon moves everyone off the pitch and onto the bench, so nobody is lost.
Clear lineup empties the pitch and the bench — everyone drops back to reserves.
Your bench is where substitutions come from in the live tracker. Without a bench you'll see "No substitutes named for this match".
A substitute who answered no to the RSVP is flagged with a red dot, so you don't name someone who isn't coming.
A substitute is named on the bench and can come on during the match. A reserve is in the squad but not in this match at all.
A match that collects RSVPs has no reserves — the squad for that match is exactly who you invited. Use Edit RSVP instead.
