Add or remove squad admins

Invite people to help run your squad as admins, or remove them.

Who can do this
Where

Admins look after the squad itself: its details, shirts, rules, admins, staff and plan. Any admin can invite or remove other admins.

Invite an admin

Open Manage Admins
Tap your profile photo at the top right, then Manage Admins under Admin Settings.

Tap Add Admin
Invite New Admin opens.

Pick the person
Tap Search a user or enter an email. Find a Scouty user and tap Select, or type the email of someone who isn't on Scouty yet.

Tap Send invite
You'll see Invitation sent!. They become an admin once they accept.

Questions

What's the Super Admin?

The person who created the squad. The Super Admin can't be removed.

Can I make a child an admin?

No. Children's profiles can't be invited as admins or staff.

Questions

Open Manage Admins
Click the squad's name at the top of the sidebar and choose Manage Admins, or go to Settings and then Admins.

Click Add Admin
Invite New Admin opens.

Enter the person
Type in Search a user or enter an email.

Click Invite Member
They show as (pending) until they accept.

The person gets an email and a notification asking them to accept.

Cancel an invite

Find the pending invite in the list and tap UnInvite (or click Uninvite on the web), then confirm Cancel Invitation. On the app, tap Pending to see invites.

Remove an admin

Tap REMOVE (or click Remove on the web) next to the admin, then confirm Remove Admin. You'll see Admin terminated! on the app, or Admin removed! on the web.

The Super Admin, the person who created the squad, can't be removed.

Scouty Pro

On the mobile app, free squads can have up to 2 admins, including pending invites. To add more, the app asks you to upgrade to premium.
