Add your child
Create a player profile for your child, managed from your own account. No email or phone needed for them.

Open Add your child
If you picked Parent when you set up your profile, Scouty opens Add your child straight away.
Otherwise, go to Your account, then Children, and click Add a child. You can also use + in the rail on the left and choose Add your child.
Fill in their profile

Your child
First name and Last name (up to 30 characters each), Date of Birth and Category.

Preferred position
Pick their position on the pitch and their Preferred Foot. Both are optional and can be added later.

Privacy
Let squads find your child is on by default. Leave it on and squads see their first name, last initial, age group and city, marked as parent-managed. Turn it off and they only turn up for someone who searches their username.
Questions
Does my child need their own email address?
No. Their profile has no login of its own. Invites, match reminders and payment requests for them come to you.
How many children can I add?
As many as you need. Each one gets their own profile.
My child is 18. Can I still add them?
No. Child profiles are for under-18s. From 18, people sign up for themselves.
